In March, Sugar Glider Digital and Art Pharmacy presented our second event in The Art Project Series: What will art projects look like in 2050?

The panel pondered the impacts of camera-less technology, carbon neutralisation, holographics and how to navigate the metaverse.

SXSW Sydney Panel: The Digital & Immersive Future of the Arts

In October, we presented a panel talk about technology and the arts at the inaugural SXSW Sydney!

Emilya Colliver (Art Pharmacy), Simone Clow (Zebrar) Mia Forrest (Digital artist) and Michelle Wang (Sugar Glider Digital) deliberated on the future of digital arts and how we can use technology for the better.

SXSW Sydney Networking Event: Creative Industries Meetup

We also hosted a networking event at JMC Academy, which found like-minded creatives from the film, music, health, and technology sectors from all corners of the globe.

 

 

West Bund Art & Design Fair Program

Finally, our CEO/Founder Emilya Colliver presented a talk, 'The future of art in your daily life' at West Bund Art & Design Fair in Shanghai!

 

FESTIVALS

 

This year we expanded our horizons in overseas markets and with brave new curatorial projects.

We chased opportunities and sourced artworks that responded to the brief whatever the occasion.

 

Our international art fair debut!

In November, Sugar Glider Digital was an exhibiting gallery at the prestigious international West Bund Art & Design Fair in Shanghai, China.

We showcased the talented works of new media artists: Mia ForrestJuune LeeNancy LiangJonathan PucSi Yi ShenMikaela StaffordCraig-SRJessica Ticchio  and commissioned art projects by Art Pharmacy.


 

To complete a fantastic year, Sugar Glider Digital joined forces with Purpose Conference!

We curated a stunning collection of nature-based artworks tailored to the theme of purpose-driven business.
